Alas, my first quarter of grad school is finished! Here's how I did:

Dammit! Freaking oral exam!

I'm leaving for Maine tomorrow morning, to see many, many lovely people and take a much-needed vacation from, well, everything.

Also: "Der Zauberflöte" is my project for the quarter. It's my task to know the opera well enough to not only play all of it (making my own reduction!) musically and flawlessly, but to be able to coach every recit, aria, etc.
